So, yesterday I am getting busy on my checklist and my son comes in the room. He says, “Hey Mom, the guy I’m working for needs someone to clean his condo. You want to do it for $20 an hour?” I said, “Sure why not.” My son tells me he just put new carpet in, so I didn’t have to worry about that. He needs someone to clean the kitchen cabinets, bathrooms, clean the floors. I thinking well that won’t be bad. Boy, was I wrong!
Those rooms were horrible. I started downstairs yesterday. We only worked for a few hours because my son had to go to Home Depot. Today we were there from 8 to 5 but we had to leave for a while, so Dusty could go look at another job. I still have at least another day or day and a half before I am done. Even the washer and dryer were filthy. I have to say though it has been fun working with my son again. I haven’t done that since he was a kid. This time though he was the boss and not me. I think I will be making a little more money than I thought I would make.
Well life is always good when you get to spend time with your loved ones whether it is working together or just visiting.

I am still working on it. I have the worse to do now which is the kitchen and the upstairs bathroom. I put a big dent in the upstairs bathroom. I don’t think I will be able to go finish until tomorrow because I babysit the twins on Wednesdays usually.
That was/is a lot of work! He should pay you triple. But it’s nice you get to work with your son. 😊
Actually I am not minded it that much. I like doing things that I can really tell I have done something. Let me tell you I can really tell I have done something at this house. It is nice to finish a room and see what I have done to make a difference.
