Edward Gets Messy

I read my first book to my beautiful little granddaughters. 

I am not sure if they were trying to get closer to see better or to eat the book.  They did seem to like it but I am sure that it is just the sound of my voice they liked. The loved being talk to, so I figured it is time to start the reading.  I believe their parent’s, Heather and Dan, have been reading to him.

The book Edward Gets Messy by Rita Meade and illustrated by Olga Stern was a great little book. Edward is a particular pig that never gets messy.  He doesn’t enjoy a lot of things because he is afraid he will get dirty. One day he finds out you have a lot more fun if he does get dirty. He can always take a bath.
