I feel like I really did a lot of today. I just seemed to have so much energy. I know I do have more energy, since I started on this life change.
I started the day off checking my email. Then off to clean the bathroom. I got the towels washed, counter, toilet, and tub cleaned. Then I did the floors.
I knew the boys wouldn’t clean it while I am in Gig Harbor, WA taking care of my daughter, Sarah, after her foot surgery.
I got my suitcase packed. I still need to get all my last-minute stuff in my backpack. I am not taking much, just a carry on. I will be there for 2 weeks.
I vacuumed the house.
Then I thought I need to plant these spider plants I rooted, so they can get settle in their dirt before they are sold at church.
While I was doing on this stuff I also kept taking breaks where I would work on the computer.
Then I decided to paint the wall under the cupboards. This is what it looked like to start with.
Then after the coat of primer.
First coat of paint.
And here it is finished. I think I am going to like this change. I will paint the other wall tomorrow. That is if the girls behave because I think I am going to get them one last time before I go.
I also reorganized the freezer so David and Dusty could find all the meals I made for them. Yes I do spoil them.
I got the pork loin cooking for supper. Then David got home and we went and did the last of the grocery shopping for them. I know they can go to the store if they have too.
I am getting excited about seeing my granddaughters in Gig Harbor. Willow the oldest tell her Mom, Sarah, I am glad you are having surgery, so grandma can come see us.
Well I will see if I have a lot of energy tomorrow. I kind of hope so because then I will sleep on the red-eye flight to Seattle.
I am not good with spider plants, but I love them. I don’t know if I over/under water or if I need to mist them… but the ends always wilt.
Mine was not doing good until we went on vacation for 5 weeks and it just took because of my son’s green thumb. No I have a big beautiful one. Let’s see if I can keep it alive when he leaves. lol
Hmm… maybe he could tell us his secret! I can never get my Christmas cactus to bloom either! No matter what I do! Your counter looks awesome too! I should do that in my kitchen!
Thanks. I got the Christmas cactus at our church to bloom twice last year. All I did was make sure it is dried out before I water it. It is not in direct sunlight either. It is in the Rev’s office across from the window. Not sure what I did right.
I will try that this year!
