I have been waiting for this storm that was supposed to hit last night. Three inches of snow they said and I am still waiting 24 hours later. We still don’t have any snow and it is warming up. I can say though the sunset was beautiful.
These are all taken off my back deck.
It is 37 degrees, 5:30 at night and dark that is Alaska for you. It is so much warmer than I can remember in a long time.
What is it like where you live?
Thanks for stopping by.

wow, you have such a beautiful view from your deck. my husband and I have always talked about moving to Alaska but I wasn’t sure if I could handle the cold. You are about the same temperature that we are experiencing here in the Midwest.
Midwest has worse weather than we have here sometimes.
so maybe I could handle Alaska. so love all the pictures you post.
Maybe those are snow clouds! The pictures are gorgeous! It’s going to get into the 30’s by the wknd. 😔 I hate cold! Brrr!
Still no snow this morning
I’m sorry. Me, I’d be happy cause I hate cold! It’s pretty to look at on the mountains though!
Yes I look out my front window to see some nice view of mountains. People walk into my living room and say, “You have a million dollar view.”
My kind of clicks! So perfect! Beautiful!
All I need is a cup of hot coffee, and I’m there! ☕️
Thank you so much
We’ve been having some amazing sunsets here in Pennsylvania too – a few accompanied by rainbows (if you search West Chester, PA on Instagram you will see lots of pictures!) Mostly it’s been rainy, with a few days of brilliant sunshine mixed in.
I will have to check it out
Maybe the snow is gone, but in the pictures I can see beautiful colours of the sky, that is great!
Yes, the sky has been beautiful. I am not complaining about no snow but he ice the last few days is bad.
I can only imagine how is the ice, here it is not common. Anyway it looks like the weather is changing and maybe there will be good surprises
I am just hoping that we have snow by Christmas when the grandkids from Washington are here. They were born in Arizona and haven’t really seen snow before.
Oh, that it would be really super, a special gift for them. I really hope so!
