Three Inches of Snow, NOT!

I have been waiting for this storm that was supposed to hit last night.  Three inches of snow they said and I am still waiting 24 hours later.  We still don’t have any snow and it is warming up.  I can say though the sunset was beautiful.

These are all taken off my back deck.

It is 37 degrees, 5:30 at night and dark that is Alaska for you.  It is so much warmer than I can remember in a long time.

What is it like where you live?

Thanks for stopping by.

  1. wow, you have such a beautiful view from your deck. my husband and I have always talked about moving to Alaska but I wasn’t sure if I could handle the cold. You are about the same temperature that we are experiencing here in the Midwest.

      1. Yes I look out my front window to see some nice view of mountains. People walk into my living room and say, “You have a million dollar view.”

  2. We’ve been having some amazing sunsets here in Pennsylvania too – a few accompanied by rainbows (if you search West Chester, PA on Instagram you will see lots of pictures!) Mostly it’s been rainy, with a few days of brilliant sunshine mixed in.

    1. Yes, the sky has been beautiful. I am not complaining about no snow but he ice the last few days is bad.

      1. I can only imagine how is the ice, here it is not common. Anyway it looks like the weather is changing and maybe there will be good surprises

      2. I am just hoping that we have snow by Christmas when the grandkids from Washington are here. They were born in Arizona and haven’t really seen snow before.
