I had the most wonderful Christmas this year. Four of my five children were here for Christmas and 8 of my 12 grandchildren were home. Then Heather also had her in laws and her brother in law at her house.
We had a gathering at our house on Christmas eve. We opened a few presents then with my grandson, Rickie, because he was working on Christmas day. The rest of us got to open one package which was new pj’s that Grandma got for everyone.
Christmas morning all the grandkids got up and opened their presents from Santa and their stockings. Our house was overflowing with excitement.
Then we all headed out to my daughter, Heather’s, house in our pj’s. We ate breakfast, opened the rest of the presents and had lasagna later. It was so much fun with all the kids. The twins didn’t make it through the present opening because they needed it a nap. Their older cousins were more than happy to open their presents.
By the end of the day grandpa was pretty worn out.
The whole family said this was the best Christmas ever. I don’t know how long it will be before we get to do this again. I will treasure this Christmas forever. I thank all my children for making this my best Christmas ever.
