Well we are finished with everything we needed to do, so we decided it was time to start heading back home to Alaska.
We had already spent some of the garage sale money celebrating the completion of the sale. We decided that we would use the rest to buy BBQ and have a family get together at my brother’s house.
A great time was had by all. There was plenty of laughs, food and love. We all said our goodbyes. Before we left though my brother and sister came up to me and handed me some money. I asked what it was for and they told me it was the left over money from the garage sale. They decided since we had to drive so far we should have it. They handed me $40. We headed back to the old family home for one last night.
I love my family and will miss them but it is time to move on.
