With David having broken his wrist, I have his jobs to do too. This includes the yard work which I don’t really mind. First thing is make sure all the dog poop is picked up. This is really my job anyway. Next is picking up all the limbs that the bad winds blew out of our trees and from the neighbors trees. I am sure they have some of ours too. We are a very sharing neighborhood. This took me a while but I finally got it done. Then came the mowing.
Harrison was very helpful.
I got the backyard done. It took a while because it was wet and a little too high, so the lawnmower kept dying. I would have to take a break and do a few more things around the yard. Straightened the new water hose out and put it in a tote. Pulled weeds from flower bed around the tree. Also, sat and watched the squirrels after I filled the bird feeders.

The next day I did the front yard and it didn’t take near as long. It was nice to have the weed whacker for the edging.
I did still have time to cook too. Of course, it was a quick dinner with some Amish Sausage and scrambled eggs.

I also made some Ginger Snaps. I got the recipe out of my Keto Sweet Treats.
You can get some nice cooling racks on Amazon. Just like this one.
The cookies were ok but I did like the Snicker Doodles better.
Stay safe out there!
Thanks for stopping by!
Hi! I was one of Harrison’s fosters! I was hoping that he would be adopted by an older couple, and you are perfect for him! How is his fur doing? I remember that it was still hiding some nasty matted fur. He used to sleep on a twin mattress on my floor! He really is the sweetest, I’m glad he got the perfect home with you!
After getting him over all his medical problems he is a new boy. He jumps around and plays now. He reminds us when it is time for his walk. He is well known in the neighborhood. It took a lot of brushing and a couple of baths but his fur is great now. Had to cut mats out from under his ears. He is the best.
