We decided to take our friends, Christina and Maria, camping. Christina had been camping growing up, but Maria had never been.
Christina and I decided to go to Codorus State Park because Maria was doing “Go York” which is program the library has in the summer to get people to check out the local parks. Then you find the marker and get a rubbing. There were several in and near the park so we headed on over.
The first night we had to roast marshmallows and make s’mores.
I don’t know if you can see them or not but there are some cool red flowers in the tree.
We hiked above the lake looking for one of the posts.
This beautiful butterfly posed for me.
As always there are my flower photos.
Harrison got to go play in the lake too.
The lake was nice to look at but you can’t swim in it because of the currents. The geese don’t read so they were swimming anyway.
A great few days was had by all. I don’t think we will go back here though. It just isn’t our kind of place to camp.
Thanks for stopping by!
