We left the house at 8:48am for our next great adventure. Heading to Harrisburg we hit a little rain. Once we got on Highway 76, a toll road, the skies started to clear.
Our good friends, the Flat Ole Hippies, decided to join us on this trip. They are always a lot of fun.
We are driving in the rain again. At least it is not pouring.
David and I do love going through all the tunnels on I76 between Harrisburg and Pittsburgh.
We are driving down I70 and it is still raining. But wait look at the cool bridges.
This is what happens when you are trying to get your camera and push all the wrong apps.
We hit West Virginia at 12:50pm. We crossed the Ohio River into Ohio at 1:05pm. Coming from Alaska I still can’t get over how tiny some states are. Fifteen minutes in West Virginia. Oh how I enjoyed. Just kidding it is just a small strip of the state.
We did cross another cool bridge over the Ohio.
I actually didn’t let my smart phone beat me this time.
Got to Today’s Harvest where we were staying in New Paris, Ohio at 4:45pm. Heater wasn’t working so we were frozen. We checked in and grabbed some fresh pressed apple cider which we heated up. It was delicious
David decided we better fill up before we ran the generator for the night. Gas is getting cheaper. It was $3.21. It took 60 gallons.
I think now that we could have taken the car and stayed in hotels. We are saving money on meals though. There is more room for Harrison and we do love our motorhome.
We drove 500 miles today.
Thanks for stopping by.
