The kids, I mean the grown kids, wanted to go to a mystery dinner date. It was in Lancaster so we decided to use our Harvest Host and find a place to stay close. Oma and Grandpa could watch the girls while Mom and Dad had a date night.
We headed to Bird in Hand, PA where we stayed at Kauffman’s Barefoot Acres.
With David having broken his wrist, I have his jobs to do too. This includes the yard work which I don’t really mind. First thing is make sure all the dog poop is picked up. This is really my job anyway. Next is picking up all the limbs that the bad winds blew out of our trees and from the neighbors trees. I am sure they have some of ours too. We are a very sharing neighborhood. This took me a while but I finally got it done. Then came the mowing.
Sorry I am a week late writing my blog. The hotel we stayed in last I couldn’t get online to post this blog and then we had no internet in the new house. So here is the post from Saturday to continue our last leg of our journey.
We left our hotel at 8:30 with 194 miles to go. Hoping to see our new home around noon.
