David had to take me to Hershey, PA for my last doctor appointment on my left thumb. After surgery, a cast for 5 weeks, a brace and 6 weeks of therapy I have been released to go out and cause trouble. To celebrate we decided to check out a few breweries in town.
First stop was Rotunda brewery and it was lunch time. We were starving by this time, so perfect place for lunch.
We were told that because of Covid-19 you have to buy food with your beer. I guess it is to keep people from over crowding or maybe because if you have to eat something you won’t stay as long which will allow more people a chance to come in. Anyway we didn’t care we were ready for lunch. Since we did plan to hit a couple of more places decided to eat small.
It was nice inside and the beer was good.
The food was nice. I had deviled eggs which were great. David thought he would go with the pretzel. I don’t believe it went with the small taste he was hoping for.
We said good bye to Rotunda Brew Pub; we did find out that the owners last name is Rotunda.
So a while back David and I saw this woman on the news with a sign in her window saying need beer. She was looking out her window with a Coors Light in her hand. Coors ended up delivering her cases of her beer.
Well David and I don’t care for Coors but we do love our Troegs which is a local brewery in Hershey, PA.
This is David’s take on it. Do you think he will get some beer? Watch this space to find out?
Heather decided she wanted to do something fun before her first day of work, so they bought tickets to take us all to Hershey Park.
We headed to Hershey Park only to find out that they didn’t open until noon. This happened to be good for us because poor, little Kate got sick on the way there. We believe that she gets car sick now that the car seats are turned around like big girls. To say the least there were no extra clothes for her, so Heather had to get her something. The American Zoo which is part of Hershey Park was open, so she just went to the gift shop and grabbed her a t-shirt.
We still had almost 2 hours before the park opened. We had noticed a sign for Tanger Outlet Stores, so off we went. It was decided that you could go shopping or to the auto museum.
Tanger Outlets are cool if you are looking for something. I was not.
