Our last day with our kids before we head into Seattle to visit David’s best friend before we head back to York.
Sarah and Steve made it home around 11am.
They made it 13 days without killing each other. Sarah was a little afraid because she said that this is the longest the two of them have ever been alone. I think from the smiles on their faces it was ok.
They were happy to be home.
They met the kids at the bus stop with candy Lei’s. Then home to give them their gifts.
What goofy granddaughters we have.
Willow and Meadow had a concert with the middle school that night and wanted to go dressed like this. Mom had to tell them no.
We all went to their last concert of the year. There were 3 local elementary schools who went to the middle school to sing with their choir.
We stopped at Subway on the way home for dinner. It was a great night and we really loved the kids concert.
It sounds fun so here I go to answer her questions.
Do you prefer eating foods with nuts or no nuts? I love my nuts and seed. I guess because I am a little nutty.
Do you sleep with your closet doors open or closed? I like to keep my door open but when we have company I close it. My son-in-law who is a HVAC man told me a long time ago that it is better to keep the doors open for the air conditioner. Of course, now I only have a heater in Alaska but I figure it still would be the same.
Are you usually late, early, or right on time? I have to say I am always early. My kids hated this when they were growing up.
What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week? I will have to say this is what made me smile this week.
My two beautiful granddaughter who I get to babysit every Wednesday.
Those are the questions and answers for this week. What are your answers? You can comment on my page or put it your blog and follow Cee’s instruction on her blog.
